Note: Non members can pay online for each Twilight event, but first must register with our website. (It's easy!) Non-members pay a surcharge for a day membership to SJBC.

Three corner course on wide roads, just under a mile long.
Starting Location/Mandatory Rider's Meeting
Meeting Time: 6:40p in front of the registration table. The 'A' group rolls at 6:45p sharp!
NOTE: Registration closing times will be strictly enforced. No exceptions Do not be late.
New riders must ride with the 'C' group unless they are Cat 3 or higher. This is to allow riders to acclimate to the open course consisting of challenging turns and some traffic.
Juniors age 14 and under must have a parent or mentor riding with them, or receive Twilights Coordinator pre-approval to ride on their own. These are open roads and safety is of paramount importance.
If you ride without paying you will be DQ'd for the remaining Twilight Criterium Series events.
Twilight Safety Rules
Helmets are Mandatory.
No headphones.
No Helmet Mirrors.
Road Bikes Only.
No Aerobars, Mountain Bikes, BMX, Citybikes, Recumbents, Tandems, Unicycles, Single Speed, Fixed Geared, Tall Bikes or Tricycles
Group Responsibility
A Group:
·If you start with the A's and get dropped, you can ride with the B's or C's but you are just a passenger, you cannot contest for the final sprint.
· When you pass the other groups please pass them on the left side. Do not crowd them.
· Please watch out for cars coming from both directions and only rejoin them once they have gone by you.
· If you choose to ride solo or with a few other riders for the remaining laps, please ride along the right side of the road.
You cannot cross the double yellow center road line at any part of the course.
B Group:
· Please listen to your Group Marshals, they are there for your safety.
· If and when the A group is getting ready to pass you, please neutralize, slow down and move to the right. You must wait until the A Group has a significant gap before resuming group speed.
· If you start with the B's and get dropped, you can ride with the C's but you are just a passenger, you cannot contest for the final sprint.
· Please ride to the right of the road.

C Group:

If a dropped rider in B or C group wants to to rejoin, please come to the s/f area. They can rejoin, but are cannot sprint for places or prizes. This only applies for B and C riders. If an A rider is dropped, they can join B's but stay in the back of the group. Cannot disrupt the B race in any way.
It is expected that any participant or spectator of any SJBC ride (such as a training ride or race) does not engage in any inappropriate or unacceptable behavior during the event. Inappropriate and unacceptable behavior includes but is not limited to:
1. Physical or verbal abuse to any person/group or property while riding or at anyclub event, including use of foul language, or making obscene gestures towards any person.
2. Malicious actions at an SJBC event that endangers the well-being of others.
3. Non-consensual physical contact of people or bikes, threatening or bullying behavior, unwanted sexual advances, and any other inappropriate behavior.
4. Conduct or speech (verbal, written, or online) which is hostile, abusive, shaming, harassing, or discriminatory toward others. This includes, but is not limited to, conduct in relation to age, disability, socioeconomic status, education, national origin, marital status, pregnancy, religion, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, or gender identity.
5. Other inappropriate conduct that reflects poorly on SJBC and/or upon cycling in general. Anyone who experiences or witness inappropriate or unacceptable activity as outlined above during an SJBC event are expected to promptly report the issue to either the event coordinator or a club officer (President, Vice-president, Secretary, or Treasurer). The activity will be investigated and appropriate action or inaction will be taken. To facilitate a prompt investigation, we urge that such reports be in writing with a description of the incident(s), names of the individuals involved, names of witnesses; and relevant dates, times, and locations.
